Further, Mahmud wants Bangladesh to produce at least one batsman, who can find a place in the Top 10 Rankings of ICC on a consistent basis. He believes all the U19 youngsters, who brought laurels to Bangladesh have the potential to do the job.
Also, Mahmud hinted the players will get a chance in the ICC World Cup 2023 based on their show.
“Like Shakib, we have to make another all-rounder. There has to be one of the top ten batsmen in the world from Bangladesh. And these World Cup-winning players are capable of this,” he said.
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would turn out for Bangladesh.
So far, they have made a tremendous rise in world cricket and would like to repeat the show in the near future.
